The DC Future Book: in association with Columbia Threadneedle Investments 2022

The Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) is today publishing the eighth edition of The DC Future Book: in association with Columbia Threadneedle Investments 2022. The DC Future Book is an annual compendium (first published in 2015) that sets out available data on the DC landscape alongside commentary, analysis and projections of future trends. As well as tracking changes and trends in DC data over time, each year we put a spotlight on an area of particular interest within the DC landscape.

As we see substantial cost of living increases impacting both those of working age and retirees, this year’s edition will explore the impact of inflationary increases on the DC landscape and investment strategies. The report investigates questions such as whether the changes occurring are structural or cyclical, what changes in investment strategy may be appropriate to manage the risks associated with inflationary changes, and how best to communicate with savers and pensioners about these changes.
