Academic Collaborations

The Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) regularly welcomes PhD researchers and other students to undertake summer research internships. As part of their placement, interns have the opportunity to work alongside the PPI team on research projects that complement their academic studies and explore issues of relevance to the pensions and retirement landscape.

These projects provide interns with an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to real-world policy questions, while contributing to the wider evidence base on pensions, retirement and later-life financial security. The research outputs produced through these internships reflect the individual research interests and academic work of the interns and are shared here to support wider discussion and understanding of the issues explored.
