They Think It’s All Over… But We’re Just Kicking Off!
To celebrate the Pensions Policy Institute's 25th anniversary, we're bringing together PPI Supporters and Governors for The Pension World Cup, a unique, interactive event exploring the pension reforms and policy changes that have shaped the UK pensions landscape over the past 25 years.
Hosted in a lively tournament-style format, eight expert teams will each champion a different pension reform or change, making the case for why it has had the greatest impact over the last quarter-century. Following a series of fast-paced presentations, the audience will vote to decide which four teams progress to the final.
After a short break, the finalists will return for one last chance to persuade the crowd before facing quick-fire questions from the audience. A final vote will then determine which reform is crowned the Pension World Cup Champion.
This is no spectator sport! The crowd will play a crucial role throughout the tournament, challenging the arguments, putting in tackles and deciding which teams stay on the pitch, and which are shown the red card.
The competing teams and the reforms they will represent will be announced throughout August via the PPI LinkedIn page.
