Yifan Ge
Research Intern
Yifan joined the PPI as a Research Intern in June, contributing to a project on retirement poverty.
She is a PhD researcher in the Department of Gerontology at the University of Southampton. Her PhD explores retirement poverty and the impacts of State Pension Age reforms on women born in the 1950s, using large-scale survey and administrative datasets.
Her wider research interests include pensions, ageing, inequalities in later life, and evidence-based social policy.
