Maritha Lightbourne
HEAD OF FINANCE AND OPERATIONS
Maritha Lightbourne joined the Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) in June 2005 on a temporary basis and has since become a central part of the organisation. Her role spans the full scope of the Institute’s operations, including financial management, compliance with company and charity law, and human resources. In 2015, she was appointed Company Secretary and works closely with the Trustee Board and Senior Management on governance matters.
Maritha began her career as a Junior Accounts Assistant at Chrysalis Music while volunteering with a non-profit organisation. She is an Affiliated Member of The Chartered Governance Institute and holds a Master’s degree in Voluntary Sector Management (Cass Business School) and a Diploma in Charity Accounting (ICAEW).
She currently serves as a trustee for Impact Family Centre. In her spare time, Maritha enjoys spending time with her large family.
