Fiona holds a PhD in Financial Technology from the University of Edinburgh. Her expertise spans quantitative research, data analysis, and economic modelling, with a focus on financial vulnerability, consumer outcomes, and evidence-based policymaking.
She has extensive experience applying data and econometric methods to translate complex research into practical insights for policymakers and stakeholders. Before her PhD, she worked in data science roles within the financial services sector in Kenya, supporting initiatives to improve access to credit and financial inclusion.
