Roshni Thakrar
Roshni Thakrar is a qualified solicitor with over a 13 years of experience in the City of London, currently serving as Legal Counsel at Flood Re. Her legal expertise spans pensions, insurance and reinsurance, regulatory compliance, ESG, and corporate governance.
Roshni is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) running a consultancy, Inclusiviteam which she co-founded in 2024. This followed her own adult diagnosis of dyslexia in 2022. Since then she has become a leading voice on neurodiversity in the workplace and intersectionality as a working lawyer. She has also spearheaded initiatives to help close the gender, ethnicity, and disability pensions gap, and has delivered sessions on neurodivergence, psychological safety, imposter syndrome and adaptability. Her contributions were recognised with the “Rising Star of the Year” and “Employee Network of the Year” awards at her former employer, M&G in 2024, and she was a finalist for the 2025 Women in Diversity Law Awards.
Beyond her legal and trustee roles, Roshni is a public speaker and podcast host. Her podcast, Prim Rose Light, explores topics at the intersection of mind, body and soul. She mentors and volunteers in her local community, supports on climate change initiatives, as well as supporting others in their personal and career development initiatives.
Roshni brings to the PPI Board a blend of legal rigour, regulatory insight, and a deep commitment to inclusive policymaking from a DEI lens.
