Briefing Note 141- CDC Design in the UK: Cross Subsidy, Shared Indexation and Alternatives to Longevity Pooling

Published on Thursday 15 May 2025 this Briefing Note, the third in the research series funded by a grant from the Nuffield Foundation, examines various issues that relate to the way that Collective Defined Contribution (CDC) schemes attempt to pool longevity risk. These issues have been identified by King’s College London (KCL), who have developed a model of CDC.
